McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle

The F-15 Eagle is an American twin-engine, all-weather air superiority fighter developed by McDonnell Douglas that first flew in the early 1970s and entered United States Air Force service in 1976, built with powerful engines and a large wing to give it exceptional speed, climb rate and maneuverability for its era. Widely exported to allied air forces and produced in numerous strike-capable variants alongside the original air-to-air version, it built a combat record in which its operators claim it has never been shot down in aerial combat, and derivatives of the design remain in frontline production decades after its introduction.
