The Mazda Parkway is a minibus built on the Mazda Titan truck platform at the Hiroshima factory, exclusively for the Japanese market. It came in two generations, from 1972 to 1982 and then the type WVL from 1982 until 1997, and it replaced the Mazda Light Bus that Mazda built from 1965 to 1972. The Parkway was a favourite in public transport in southern Japan, including Hiroshima and Hamamatsu, and competed with the Toyota Coaster and Nissan Civilian. In 1974 Mazda offered a rotary version, the Parkway Rotary 26, with a 13B engine and room for 26 passengers; only 44 were built. The Parkway was also sold as the Kia Combi, and the WVL bus reached India as the SML Isuzu T3500.
