The Lola T86/00 is an open-wheel racing car chassis designed and built by Lola Cars for the CART open-wheel racing series, and it was the company's entry for the 1986 IndyCar season. Across that season the chassis won three races, one of them with Al Unser Jr. and two with Mario Andretti. It was powered by the Ford-Cosworth DFX V8 engine, rated at about 800 horsepower (600 kilowatts), and its infobox lists a mid-engined layout with a six-speed manual gearbox, methanol fuel and Goodyear tyres. The car made its debut at the 1986 Dana 200 for Special Olympics and the infobox records 17 entries, 3 wins and 2 poles. The T86/00 follows the Lola T900 in the company's Indy car line and was succeeded by the Lola T87/00, which places it as one step in the long run of Lola chassis that served American open-wheel racing in the 1980s.
