Lola T150

Automobiles

The Lola T150 and its derivatives, the T152 and T153, were open-wheel racing car chassis designed and built by Lola Cars to compete in the USAC IndyCar racing series between 1968 and 1970. The T150 and T153 were powered by the Ford Indy V8 turbo engine, while the T152 chassis used an Offenhauser four-cylinder turbo engine. The T150 and T152 used an unusual four-wheel-drive system that was banned after the 1969 season, and the T153 returned to conventional rear-wheel drive. Across the three years the different chassis won a total of nine races, all of them driven by Al Unser.
