Lola B08/60

Automobiles

The Lola B08/60 is a Le Mans Prototype built by Lola Cars International, and the first closed-cockpit sports prototype Lola had built since the T92/10 of 1992. It was designed for the LMP1 category and started competition in 2008, with Aston Martin among the first customers in the Le Mans Series, although the car ran under the banner of Charouz Racing System. The first B08/60 was raced by the Charouz team with assistance from Prodrive and used an Aston Martin V12 engine to GT1 specification. A smaller and lighter sister car, the B08/80, was built for the LMP2 category.
