The KTM Class 92, informally the SCS for six-car sets, is a type of electric multiple unit operated by Keretapi Tanah Melayu on its KTM Komuter services in Malaysia. CSR Zhuzhou of China built 38 six-car sets. They were bought under a Malaysian Government initiative to reduce congestion and improve public transport, with RM 1.894 billion spent on the trains. The first unit was delivered on 23 September 2011 and four sets began operation on 8 March 2012, with all 38 in revenue service by July 2012. The trains have three double leaf doors per side, mostly longitudinal seating, and two middle coaches set aside as women-only coaches. CSR Zhuzhou assembled them in China, with Siemens supplying the power traction units and vehicle control systems from Germany, and the exterior was designed in Germany by Tricon Design. The purchase has been under investigation by the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission over its tender process.
