The KamAZ-43118 is a 6x6 all-wheel-drive truck built by the Russian manufacturer KamAZ, developed from the earlier KamAZ-4310 and introduced in 1995 as a successor to both the 4310 and the related 43114 model. Built for demanding off-road cargo and utility work, including military and construction applications, the 43118 combines KamAZ's characteristic cab-over-engine layout with a rugged all-wheel-drive chassis capable of operating across the difficult terrain and harsh climates common across Russia and neighboring countries. KamAZ, the largest truck producer in Russia and the CIS, has built the 43118 in large numbers, and the model has become one of the manufacturer's most widely used heavy-duty platforms in both civilian and military service.
