The Isuzu NPR is a light to medium-duty cabover commercial truck built by Isuzu, widely used across North America for delivery, box-truck, utility and municipal service applications. Built with the cab positioned directly over the front axle rather than ahead of the engine, a layout common on Japanese-designed commercial trucks that maximizes cargo space for a given overall vehicle length, the NPR has been assembled in the United States for the North American market for part of its production history through a joint venture arrangement. Its combination of maneuverability, moderate operating costs and cargo capacity has made it one of the most common trucks in its weight class for small and medium-sized businesses, courier services and municipal fleets in the United States.
