Isuzu Cubic

Buses and Road Mass Transit Vehicles

The Isuzu Cubic was a heavy-duty single-decker bus built by Isuzu between 1984 and 2000, sold mainly as a city bus either as a complete vehicle or as a bus chassis. Its model codes track the Japanese emission regulations of the time, from the P-LV series of 1984 through the U-LV series of 1990 to the KC-LV series of 1995, and a compressed natural gas version with the code NE-LV288 followed in 1995. The range was offered in Two-step and One-step versions, regarded as step-entrance buses, and a Non-step version, regarded as a low-floor bus, introduced in 1998. A hybrid bus called the Chasse is listed with the Cubic lineup.
