Hyundai Porter

Trucks and Commercial Road Vehicles

The Hyundai Porter, also sold as the Hyundai H-100, is a cabover pickup truck produced by the South Korean manufacturer Hyundai since 1977. The first generation, launched in March 1977 as the HD1000, was a truck or a minibus built on the chassis of the first-generation Ford Transit with locally developed angular bodywork and a Perkins diesel engine; it ended in 1981 when a government rationalization drive allowed Hyundai to build only passenger cars. Hyundai revived the label in November 1986 with a second generation that was a rebadged licensed Mitsubishi Delica. A third generation, the New Porter, followed in March 1996, and the fourth generation, the Porter II, has been built since 2004. It has carried other names, among them Hyundai Bakkie in South Africa and H150 in the Netherlands, and a battery-electric version was launched in South Korea in December 2019.
