The Hyundai Nexo is a hydrogen fuel cell powered crossover SUV that was revealed at the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show on 8 January 2018. It replaced the Tucson fuel cell vehicle as the flagship of the Hyundai eco car range and is named after the Danish city of Nexø. The Nexo Blue has an EPA rated range of 611 km, and the car carries three fuel tanks holding 6.3 kg of hydrogen and an electric motor of 163 PS. It was released in South Korea in March 2018, in the United States in December 2018 and in Britain in March 2019, and in 2021 it became the first hydrogen fuel cell car sold in Australia. A second generation was revealed on 3 April 2025 after the Initium concept.
