The Hyundai Mistra is a mid-size sedan that Hyundai manufactures through the Beijing Hyundai joint venture in China, slotting between the Elantra and the Sonata in the Chinese line-up. It was teased as a concept at the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show and launched at the end of 2013 as a 2014 model, conceived as a premium compact car with a longer wheelbase, extended rear legroom and a higher quality interior. The first generation, code CF, was built between 2013 and 2020 with a facelift shown in April 2017, powered by Nu engines of 1.8 and 2.0 litres. The second generation, code DU2, was unveiled at the 2020 Guangzhou Auto Show exclusively for China, with a 1.8 litre engine or a 1.5 litre turbo, and an electric version with a range of 520 km is also available.
