Hyundai Green City

Buses and Road Mass Transit Vehicles

The Hyundai Green City, previously the Hyundai Global 900, is a heavy-duty bus made by the truck and bus division of Hyundai on the basis of the Hyundai Aero City, sold mainly as short-body city buses and tourist buses. The first generation Global 900 was introduced in 2002 with a Mercedes-Benz OM906LA diesel or a Hyundai C6AB CNG engine, and it was updated in 2004 and facelifted in 2008. The Green City name began with a May 2010 launch that brought a Euro 4 CNG engine, and Euro 5 and Euro 6 engines followed in 2012 and 2015. Its main competitors were the Kia AM, the Daewoo BS090 and the Daewoo BM090. Hyundai discontinued urban high-floor buses from January 2024.
