Hyundai County

Buses and Road Mass Transit Vehicles

The Hyundai County is a single-decker minibus made by the truck and bus division of Hyundai, introduced in 1998 as the successor to the Chorus and sold mainly as city buses and tourist buses. It is related to the now discontinued Kia Combi and was designed by the Hyundai Jeonju Design Center. The first generation was built from 1998 to 2004, the e-County variant, designed to meet Euro 3 standards, ran from 2004 to 2007, and the facelifted e-County of 2008 had Hyundai's 3.9 litre F engine; the New County upgrade with the F170 engine was produced from 2012 to 2020. The County Electric, revealed at the 2019 Hyundai Truck and Bus Business Fair alongside the Pavise and released in 2020, has vehicle attitude control, four-wheel disc brakes and a rear emergency door, and the County New Breeze facelift launched in May 2020 on a design based on a Chinese specification shown at Auto Shanghai in 2015.
