Hyundai Clix

Automobiles

The Hyundai Clix was a concept car built by the Hyundai Motor Company and shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2001. It mixed the traits of a coupe with those of a pickup-style SUV, and its distinctive feature was a fully transparent, collapsible roof that let the cabin be reconfigured for different situations. As a concept car it is a design study rather than a production model, but it gained a second life in video games, appearing as a drivable car in Gran Turismo 4, Gran Turismo PSP, Gran Turismo 5 and Gran Turismo 6. The article that describes it is short and gives no performance figures, so this entry records the maker, the year and the roof design that set it apart.
