Hyundai Aero Town

Buses and Road Mass Transit Vehicles

The Hyundai Aero Town is a medium-duty midicoach made by the truck and bus division of Hyundai and introduced in 1994. It is used mainly as a midcoach and a smaller intercity bus, either as a complete bus or as a bus chassis, and it carries a front Aero Town badge with the common Hyundai badge usually on the rear. It came in a standard body short-wheelbase midibus and a long body long-wheelbase midibus. Its primary competitors were the Daewoo BH090 Royal Star and the Daewoo BS090 Royal Midi, and it is related to the discontinued Asia and Kia Cosmos AM818. Hyundai announced that its urban high-floor buses would be discontinued from January 2024 after low-floor buses became mandatory in 2023.
