The Honda XR650L has had a single generation since its release in 1992 as a 1993 model, produced virtually unchanged since then and still in production as the Wikipedia article stands. It joins the RFVC engine of the proven NX650 Dominator with the lighter XR600R chassis, which is capable off-road. The engine is an air-cooled 644 cc SOHC dry-sump single-cylinder four-stroke producing 40 hp. Its US EPA and California Air Resources Board compliant exhaust system, electric starter and lighting make it street legal. Each model year has its own page.
