Honda has made the CMX250, or Rebel 250, a cruiser style motorcycle of 234 cc, on and off since 1985. It uses the same 234 cc straight-twin engine as the Honda Nighthawk 250 standard, and is part of the CM series of cruisers. It has a single disc brake in the front, a drum in the rear and a five-speed transmission, and is commonly used in the Motorcycle Safety Foundation's certified rider-training courses. According to American Honda, 2016 was the last model year for the Rebel 250 to be sold in the United States. This site lists a page for every model year in the span covered here, each focused on what changed in that year, grouped into 2 generations: the CMX250 (1985 to 2016 model years); the 2017 redesign (2017 model year onward). Each year page links to its generation, to this model page, to the previous model year and to Honda.
