The FL350R was the last Honda Odyssey before the Pilot. Scheduled to appear in spring 1984, it was delayed until early 1985. Honda enlarged the two stroke engine to 342 cc, which a recall later cut to 329 cc, placed it behind the driver and added electric starting. To improve stability the track was widened to 42.5 inches at the front and 47.2 inches at the rear, and the mechanical disc brakes were replaced by dual hydraulic drums in front and a single hydraulic rear disc. The FL400 Pilot replaced the FL350 in 1989. Its model year has its own page.
