Honda NSR250R (MC16)

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

The MC16, the 1987 NSR250R, was the first of four distinct generations of the road-going NSR250R, which evolved from the NS250R MC11. It used a CDI ignition system and a straight swing-arm with a rear brake lug, and like every generation it had a liquid-cooled, reed valve inducted 249 cc 90 degree V-twin two-stroke engine with the Honda RC-Valve power valve system. Each model year has its own page.
