Honda CRF Series

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

Honda manufactures and markets the CRF series, a line of four stroke motorcycles for motocross, trail riding and dual sport use. Honda launched the CRF line in 2000 to succeed the CR series. The full-sized motocross bikes have liquid-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke engines from 149 cc to 449 cc, the trail-friendly CRF-F bikes have simple air-cooled engines from 50 cc to 300 cc, and the CRF-L models are street-legal dual-sport machines. The CRF450R was CycleWorld's Best Motocrosser for a record eight consecutive years from 2002 to 2009. This site lists a page for every model year in the span covered here, each focused on what changed in that year, grouped into 4 generations: the 2000 to 2007 (2000 to 2007 model years); the 2008 to 2016 (2008 to 2016 model years); the 2017 to 2023 (2017 to 2023 model years); the 2026 line-up (2026 model year). Each year page links to its generation, to this model page, to the previous model year and to Honda.
