Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird (SC35)

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

The CBR1100XX Super Blackbird has a single generation, the SC35, produced from 1996 to 2007. In the middle of the 1990s Honda set out to produce the fastest production motorcycle in the world and take over the bragging rights and marketing impact held then by Kawasaki's Ninja ZX-11, and this led to the Super Blackbird. Sport Rider magazine tested it in its February 1997 issue at 178.5 mph, its top speed, against 175 mph for the ZX-11. Each model year has its own page.
