The CB77, or Super Hawk, is a straight twin motorcycle of 305 cc, produced from 1961 until 1967 and remembered today as Honda's first sport bike. It is a landmark model in Honda's advances in Western motorcycle markets of the 1960s, noted for its speed and power as well as its reliability, and is regarded as one of the bikes that set the standard for modern motorcycles. It was built on Honda's Grand Prix racing experience, with a steel-tube frame, a telescopic front fork and a parallel twin engine capable of 9,000 rpm that was an integral element of the structure. This site lists a page for every model year in the span covered here, each focused on what changed in that year, grouped into one generation: the single generation (1961 to 1967 model years). Each year page links to its generation, to this model page, to the previous model year and to Honda.
