Honda released the first CB1300 in February 1998, and the models made before 2003 with cooling fins that were only for show were known internally as the SC40. The engine came, with minor modifications, from the X4 that had been released the year before, and the CB1300 Super Four succeeded the CB1000 Super Four. The CB1300 has never been sold by authorized dealers in the United States or Canada. Each model year has its own page.
