The Gordon Murray Automotive T.50s Niki Lauda is the track-only derivative of the T.50 supercar, announced in 2021 and limited to 25 cars. It is named for the Formula One champion Niki Lauda, who won the 1978 Swedish Grand Prix in the fan-equipped Brabham BT46B that Gordon Murray designed. The car keeps the central driving position and the naturally aspirated Cosworth-built V12 of the road T.50, but the engine is reworked for racing with twelve throttle bodies, no variable valve timing, no catalytic converters and a higher compression ratio, and the gearbox is a sequential six-speed with paddle shifters. Aerodynamics are adjustable and the rear fan is retained, with a stated downforce of up to 1,500 kg and a weight of 852 kg at launch, though later sources quote different figures. Each of the 25 cars is to be named for a Grand Prix win by a Murray-designed car.
