Gordon Murray Automotive T.33 Spider

The Gordon Murray Automotive T.33 Spider is the open-top version of the T.33 supercar, announced in April 2023 and limited to 100 examples. It shares the basic construction of the T.33 coupe, whose chassis was designed from the start to give the rigidity an open car needs, so the Spider weighs only 18 kg more, at 1,108 kg. It uses the same mildly detuned, reworked version of the T.50 Cosworth-developed 3.9 litre V12, reported at 609 bhp and 451 Nm, and is offered only with a six-speed manual gearbox. Every body panel behind the A-pillar is specific to the Spider, whose overall length of 4,398 mm matches the coupe. The roof is two carbon fibre panels that can be removed and stored under the bonnet, and the rear window can be lowered electrically. A validation prototype was shown to the public at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
