The Fiat 320 is a chassis for line and grand tourism coaches, intended for specialist Italian, European and Argentine coachbuilders. The chassis was produced by Fiat V.I. at its Italian plant at Cameri, near Brescia, and also by its Argentine subsidiary Fiat V.I. Argentina S.A.C.I.F., from 1969. It was the first coach and bus chassis made by Fiat V.I. in Argentina and, as was the custom of the time, was meant for industrial bodybuilders who made the body and interior to the wishes of transport companies on very long routes. The 320 was sold in a single version in Europe and in Argentina, since customs duties between Latin American countries were then very high. Its structure took up the very robust chassis of the Fiat 619 truck but with air suspension on both axles, an avant-garde and very rare solution at the time, and it had a 200 litre fuel tank.
