The Fiat 314 is a bus model made by the specific division of the Italian company Fiat Veicoli Industriali from 1960. In its interurban version it was designed for low-traffic suburban lines and for routes on narrow roads such as mountain roads. Production ended in 1978, when the Iveco 315 replaced it for the interurban and grand tourism versions and the Iveco 316 for the urban version. It was offered in a 7.5 metre length with urban, interurban and grand tourism fittings. Fiat proposed a version with its own body, made at the Cansa plant in Cameri and very widespread, and the 314 was also available as a chassis for outside coachbuilders such as Orlandi, Dalla Via, Officine Padane, Portesi, De Simon, Barbi, Menarini, Van Hool and Varesina. Several engines were used, all inline sixes of 4678 to 5499 cubic centimetres giving 121 to 130 horsepower with a five speed gearbox.
