The Dallara SF19 is an open-wheel single-seater chassis produced by Dallara for the Japanese Super Formula championship. It debuted in 2019, replacing the Dallara SF14, and was introduced in October 2017 at the Suzuka Circuit. Its first run took place in June 2018 at the Autodromo Riccardo Paletti in Varano de Melegari with the Japanese driver Tomoki Nojiri, who completed 71 laps. Compared with the SF14 it relies more on downforce generated by the underfloor, shifting balance from the wings to ground effect to encourage overtaking, and its appearance is closer to a Formula One car. It was the only chassis admitted to the series, powered by 2.0-litre Honda and Toyota engines derived from those of the Super GT series, so performance differences between the two makes came from an engine development war.
