The Dallara P217 is a sportscar prototype built by Dallara Automobili to the 2017 FIA/ACO regulations for the Le Mans Prototype LMP2 class, and it also meets the LMP2 regulations of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. It came from Dallara's bid for one of the four licences to build the new LMP2 cars for 2017 and made its debut at the 2017 4 Hours of Silverstone. It raced in the FIA World Endurance Championship, the European Le Mans Series and the Asian Le Mans Series. A balance problem traced to the splitter surfaced at Le Mans in 2017, and the car was fitted with an Evo kit for 2018. A Daytona Prototype International variant was developed with General Motors under its Cadillac marque.
