The Dallara IPS is an open-wheel formula racing car chassis designed, developed and built by the Italian manufacturer Dallara for Indy Lights, the feeder series for the IndyCar Series. Indy Lights was a one-make spec series, which means every team in the championship raced the same car rather than choosing between rival chassis, and the IPS served as that sole chassis from 2002 until 2014. In that role it was the common platform on which drivers prepared for a step up to IndyCar racing. As an open-wheel car it has its wheels outside the bodywork, the layout shared by the formula cars Dallara builds for the other single-seater categories.
