The Dallara GP3/10 was the first generation car of the GP3 Series, the feeder series for GP2, and it was built by the Italian manufacturer Dallara, which also designs the chassis for the parent series. It debuted in May 2010 at Catalunya and had its final run in September 2012 at Monza. In those three seasons it carried Gutiérrez to the 2010 title, Valtteri Bottas to the 2011 title and Mitch Evans to the 2012 title, with ART Grand Prix winning the teams title each year, and nine drivers graduated from the series into GP2. Each team could run three cars, so ten teams put thirty cars on the grid, one of the largest in motor sport, which made the class unstable. With the GP3/13 taking over in 2013 the number was limited to twenty seven. The car used a 280 bhp turbocharged inline four engine.
