Dallara F192

Automobiles

The Dallara F192 was the Formula One car used by BMS Scuderia Italia in 1992, designed by Giampaolo Dallara as a development of the previous year's car and adapted to take a Ferrari 3.5 litre V12 engine, supplied under an arrangement the team owner took over from Minardi. It had a carbon fibre monocoque, a six-speed transverse gearbox made by Dallara, Brembo brakes and Goodyear tyres, and its overall weight was 505 kilograms. First raced at the South African Grand Prix, its best finishes were two sixth places by Pierluigi Martini, at the Spanish and San Marino Grands Prix. It was the last Dallara chassis used by Scuderia Italia and the final Dallara Formula One chassis until 2016.
