The Dallara EAV24 is the chassis of the self-driving formula cars used in the car race of the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League (A2RL), the autonomous racing league organized by ASPIRE, part of the Advanced Technology Research Council of the United Arab Emirates. The cars are made by Dallara as modified versions of its Super Formula car, the Dallara SF23, and run on Yokohama tyres. The computers that act as the driver sit where the driver's seat would be on an otherwise unmodified chassis, with hydraulic actuators for control, a sensor suite of cameras, radar and lidar, and a large LED panel showing the status of the AI. The published specification lists a Meccanica 42 drive-by-wire system, Brembo brakes, a 4 Piston Racing K20C1 turbocharged four-cylinder engine based on a Honda 2.0 litre unit, and a 3MO six-speed gearbox.
