DAF XF

The DAF XF is a range of long-haul semi trucks built by the Dutch manufacturer DAF Trucks, part of the American Paccar group, produced since 1997 as the flagship of DAF's heavy truck lineup for the European market. Built for long-distance international haulage across Europe's dense motorway network, the XF combines a spacious cab intended for multi-day journeys with a range of Paccar-designed diesel engines, and it has won the International Truck of the Year award, voted by a panel of European trucking journalists, on several occasions across its successive generations. The XF's continued success has helped DAF maintain its position as one of the leading heavy truck brands in the European market, competing directly against similarly long-established rivals from Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Scania, MAN and Iveco.
