The CSR Qishuyan SDA2 is a diesel-electric locomotive built by CRRC Qishuyan, the Changzhou locomotive works, together with MTU Friedrichshafen for use in Australia. It is the narrow-gauge, single-cab relative of the CSR Ziyang SDA1: Pacific National ordered five of them in 2013 for the 1,067 millimetre network in Queensland, where they are classified as the 88 class. All five had been delivered by September 2014 and were trialled on the Goonyella coalfield from a base at Nebo, entering service in February 2015. They carry the nickname Dragons, taken from a proposed livery with a golden dragon on the hoods. In 2019 Pacific National trialled the class on raw sugar haulage to Townsville and afterwards in its intermodal division.
