Cessna Citation X

General Aviation and Light Aircraft

The Cessna 750 Citation X is an American mid-size business jet in the Citation family. Announced at the October 1990 NBAA convention, the Model 750 first flew on 21 December 1993, received type certification on 3 June 1996 and was first delivered in July 1996 to the golfer Arnold Palmer. It keeps the Citation III fuselage cross section but has a new 37 degree swept wing of 527 square feet, a T-tail and two AE3007 turbofans, giving a Mach 0.935 maximum operating speed and a range of 3,460 nautical miles at a 36,600 pound maximum takeoff weight. It was the first Cessna aircraft powered by a Rolls-Royce engine. The updated Citation X+ was offered from 2012 with a longer cabin and upgraded systems, and production ended in 2018 after 338 deliveries.
