Cessna 441 Conquest II

General Aviation and Light Aircraft

The Cessna 441 Conquest II was the first turboprop-powered aircraft designed by Cessna, intended to fill the gap between its piston-engined aircraft and business jets. It is a pressurized, twin-engine turboprop development of the Cessna 404 Titan, and its ICAO type designator is C441. The design began on paper in 1972 as the piston-powered Model 431 and had become the turboprop Model 441 by 1975. Development began in November 1974, the FAA certified it on 19 August 1977 and the first aircraft was delivered in September 1977. Cessna renamed it the Conquest II in 1983 and built 362 between 1977 and 1986. The smaller Cessna 425 Conquest I is a turbine development of the 421. In 2007 Cessna limited the type to 22,500 hours of air time through a supplemental inspection document.
