The Caproni Ca.125 was a single-engine, tandem two-seat touring biplane built in Italy in 1933 that could be operated either as a landplane or as a seaplane. It was a wire-braced single-bay biplane with slender elliptical wings of unequal span, the lower wing the longer, so that the pairs of parallel interplane struts leaned inwards, and the wings had neither stagger nor sweep, with ailerons on the lower planes only. In contrast to the elegant wing plan the fuselage was deep and portly, partly because of the enclosed tandem cockpits, whose rooflines followed the upper fuselage so that the crew sat low with poor forward views. A 101 kilowatt Colombo S.63 six-cylinder air-cooled inline engine gave a maximum speed of 220 kilometres per hour, and the landplane weighed 545 kilograms empty.
