Bristol C60

Buses and Road Mass Transit Vehicles

The Bristol C60 was one of the early C-series chassis of the Bristol Tramways and Carriage Company, built in the years before chassis were named by the capacity of their body. The English Wikipedia article on Bristol Commercial Vehicles explains the C-series numbering and the change of 1920. The Bristol CV Buses website treats the C60 on a single page with the C40, C45, C50 and C65, a group produced between 1908 and 1924 with bodies by Bristol and Sankey and a Bristol AW 30 hp four cylinder petrol engine, of which 127 were built, 107 for Bristol Tramways, nine for the War Department and one for Imperial. No page read states a production figure or year for the C60 on its own.
