The Boeing 777 is a wide body, twin engine jet airliner that entered service in 1995, the first commercial airliner designed entirely using computer aided design software rather than physical mockups. Offered in several fuselage lengths and engine options, it became one of the most widely used aircraft for long haul routes previously flown by three and four engine widebodies.
