The Beechcraft Model 16 was an experimental American all-metal low-wing monoplane intended for training, designed and built by Beechcraft. Only one was ever built: the prototype, registered N9716Q, which first flew on June 12, 1970. Its source describes it as a civil training monoplane, and because a single prototype is all that exists it never went into series production. It is one of the one-off experimental designs in the Beechcraft catalogue, recorded in R. W. Simpson's 1991 guide to postwar general aviation aircraft.
