Albion Victor

Buses and Road Mass Transit Vehicles

The Albion Victor was a small passenger chassis built by Albion Motors in Scotland from 1930 to 1939, in normal or forward-control form and as a 20 or 24 seater. Its name was revived for the Victor FT, a lightweight single-decker built from 1947 to 1959, and for the front-engined Victor VT of 1959 to 1966, which was derived from the Albion Chieftain truck chassis. It was one of five passenger models Albion gave names beginning with V, with the Valiant, Viking, Valkyrie and Venturer. Leyland Motors bought Albion in 1951, during the run of the FT.
