The Airbus A320 is a narrow body twin engine airliner introduced by Airbus in 1988 as the first airliner family with digital fly by wire flight controls. It became the principal rival to the Boeing 737 and, together with its A318, A319 and A321 variants, ranks among the best selling airliner families ever produced.
