2008 Honda Rancher

Automobiles

Honda introduced the TRX420FA in 2008, a 4WD automatic also called the Rancher AT, together with electronic power steering. The new automatic used a simpler dual clutch design for quick and smooth shifting, more reliable than the earlier Hondamatic, and the larger transmission meant different oil filters and capacities from the standard models. The FA came with independent rear suspension. This page belongs to the Honda Rancher (first TRX420 generation), 2007 to 2013 model years; the generation page and the Honda Rancher model page link to the other model years, so the changes of neighbouring years can be read in order.
