For 2008 the CBR600RR kept competing with the Ninja ZX-6R, a revised GSX-R600, the Daytona 675 and the R6, and even though the 2007 model had no technical changes, it went on winning middleweight shootouts, those of Sport Rider, Motorcycle-USA and Motorcycle.com. Honda revealed a CBR600RR prototype with a Combined ABS braking system on June 9, 2008, but the production 2008 CBR600RR did not offer it.
