2007 Honda ST Series Pan-European

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

A British coroner announced in April 2007, after the death of a police motorcyclist on a single seat ST1300, that he would warn all Chief Constables in England and Wales of the serious threat to riders' lives from a high speed weave of the ST1300, later called Pan weave. In August 2007 American Honda published an advisory on how to choose, install and use equipment on the ST1300PA police motorcycle, and in October 2007 RiDE Magazine reported that a team had replicated the weave at 110 miles per hour.
