Honda gave the CBR600F3 of 1997 and 1998 a revised cylinder head, a deeper oil pan, a sleeker tail section, and a new seat and tail-light, for a gain of roughly 3.7 kilowatts over the 1995 and 1996 models. The capacitor-discharge ignition and ram-air system were also revised to allow a smoother power curve than the 1995 and 1996 models. This page belongs to the Honda CBR600F (third generation, CBR600F3), 1995 to 1998 model years; the generation page and the Honda CBR600F model page link to the other model years, so the changes of neighbouring years can be read in order.
