Rising Auto

Rising Auto, formally Rising Auto Technology Co., Ltd. and known in Chinese as Feifan Auto, was an electric vehicle brand of the Chinese manufacturer SAIC Motor. It began as the R model line inside Roewe, introduced in January 2020 with the compact electric R ER6 sedan and joined in November 2020 by the Marvel R SUV, each a reworked version of an existing Roewe electric car. In March 2021 SAIC separated the R line from Roewe as a brand of its own focused on luxury electric cars, and in November 2021 renamed it Rising Auto. The brand's own models were the R7 coupe SUV, which went on sale in 2022, and the F7 executive sedan, launched in 2023; both are offered with battery swapping. Rising Auto ended its independent operation in October 2024 and became a high-end product line under Roewe.
