Vehicle and Equipment Manufacturers

Junkers Flugzeug- und Motorenwerke, usually called Junkers, was a major German maker of aircraft and aircraft engines. It was founded in Dessau in 1895 by Hugo Junkers and at first made boilers and radiators. During and after the First World War the company became famous for pioneering all-metal aircraft such as the J 1 and the Ju 52 airliner, and in the Second World War it produced aircraft for the German air force, including the Ju 87 Stuka, along with piston and jet engines.
